Elizabeth Ziadie, DDS

Elizabeth Ziadie, DDSDr. Elizabeth Ziadie graduated from Howard University where she received her doctor of dental surgery (DDS) degree in 1987. Following graduation, she practiced general dentistry in Maryland from 1987-1991. Dr. Ziadie is licensed in the Northeast Regional States, in Florida, and in Jamaica. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Jamaican Dental Society.

She practices all phases of General and Family Dentistry.Her passion, however, is Cosmetics including composite Bonding, porcelain Veneers, teeth whitening and Zirconia restorations, and crowns.

Dr. Ziadie is passionate about taking care of her patients and continues to enhance her knowledge through post-graduate courses.

Her post-graduate education includes:

  • A 10 month Maxi course in implant dentistry
  • The Trudenta system- care for headaches, TMJ disorders,and abnormal bite forces
  • State-of-the-art systems for management of periodontal disease and halitosis(perio protect and Oravital)

Dr. Ziadie has done volunteer dental work in Jamaica working at an orphanage (Alpha Boys School) and with underprivileged children. She has also given charitable donations of dental equipment and office equipment to the Salvadorian Foundation. Dr. Ziadie is married to Dr. Denis McMillan (Cardiologist) and has a son. She is an animal lover and does volunteer work with the Humane Society of Broward County. Her family pets include 3 dogs and a parrot. Dr. Miller-Sheriff is an accomplished and highly regarded general dentist in South Florida who has been in private practice for more than 20 years. She is diligent in her pursuit to stay current in providing the profession’s leading dental care procedures while utilizing state-of-the-art technology, supplies, and equipment.

Dr. Miller-Sheriff practices all aspects of general dentistry with expertise in a comprehensive health approach to deliver a complete health and wellness solution to her patients. Her approach is to establish strong relationships with her patients in order to treat each person from a holistic health perspective to ensure overall wellness. She is passionate about treating the patient as an individual with an emphasis on customizing treatment to their unique individual needs.

She works closely with her patients to create a life-long dental care plan that encourages daily attention to dental health and promotes healthy teeth and gums for patients even well into their 90s. She has built her practice with an emphasis on “dental health care” vs. “disease care”.

Her practice offers the latest advances in the industry including Trudenta headache management, as well as alternative therapies for periodontal disease including PerioProtect and OraVital. Gentle yet thorough, Dr. Miller-Sheriff prides herself on her ethics and integrity and is an ardent believer in preventive and conservative dentistry.

Dr. Sandra Miller-Sheriff graduated from the University of Florida, College of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). She completed her undergraduate degree at Barry University obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biology. In order to stay current with the latest advances in the industry, she regularly attends conferences and advanced training course including most recently Trudenta headache management. She is also a recent graduate of the Puerto Rico Maxi Course in Oral Implantology.

Dr. Miller-Sheriff is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. She participated in volunteer dental services in Falmouth, Jamaica at a clinic for the underserved. She has also given charitable donations of dental equipment and office equipment to the Salvadorian Foundation.

Personal

Dr. Sheriff’s hobbies include going to the beach, outdoor exercise, reading, and is an avid yoga student. One of her favorite things to do is to cook exotic and unique dishes for her friends and family. She is happily married to her high school sweetheart Dwight, has two grown children, Jonathan and Jessica, and her German Shepherd dog, Max. » Watch her introduction video
